restoman Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 I built this little bugger quite a while ago. Dusted it off, replaced the missing headlight and took a few pics before it got tucked away again. British Racing Green with an off-white roof, it was done with single layer automotive urethane. Somewhere between the dusting and the photos, the left door handle went MIA. Reward offered... Comments always welcome.
Dann Tier Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Fantastic little bugger!!!....I could build a million of these!!!....but why packed away again??
mitchy Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 That reminds me; I have three different versions of Tamiya’s Cooper to build... Detailing that teeny weeny A series engine is inded tricky. Almost like working on a 1:32 compared to the detroit iron around here! Good job
FabbricaP Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Looks great, really like the BRG body color. Is this the Tamiya kit?

89AKurt Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Looks good! You paint primer first, then the urethane? I did this kit too decades ago.
TonyW Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 A proper Mini! It looks spot on. I had the real deal many years back. This build brought back happy memories. Tony.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Looks great!!! The perfect color for a Mini. Don't know if you will pass the MOT without a front plate lad.
