afx Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Now that the go-kart is readily available it would be nice the have some aftermarket parts for this great little kit. I don't have the expertise or CAD software to design the parts but more than willing to help with research and recommendations. Any one interested?
espo Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 I would make sure you're not stepping on any ones toes when it comes to copy rights and such. Otherwise I buy one or two carts.
afx Posted March 19, 2019 Author Posted March 19, 2019 (edited) David, I'm hoping to create new parts to upgrade the AMT go-kart kit. Edited March 19, 2019 by afx

afx Posted March 20, 2019 Author Posted March 20, 2019 Here is the kart Rex mentioned which I enhanced a bit from what is included in the kit. 1
my80malibu Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 You could start with the Exhaust pipes opened up, possibly get some better Pedals, Magnesium wheels, more realistic chain drives.
my80malibu Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 I kind of have this one going, it's the Milner Go Cart.

Jon Haigwood Posted March 30, 2019 Posted March 30, 2019 The price in the picture is not correct , According to my latest price sheet it is $50 as it was posted in the post above
dimaxion Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 (edited) The Go Kart depicted in the F-100 Kit is a Record Holder . Owning the over 200 MPH at Bonneville Two way timed average . I remember the splash this addition to a mundane kit made in the day . I owned the Hot Rod Magazine featuring this Cart in the day . Is this Fusie Watch Chain on the Drives ? Wow , eyecandy ! Thanx .. Edited July 2, 2019 by dimaxion
Alan Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 There are also some 3D printed cart parts ...... Not sure if they can be adapted to this kit. I would be in on some stuff as well Alan

RancheroSteve Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 There was a go kart at GSL that was built with a 3D printed Briggs & Stratton engine. I believe the builder designed and printed it himself.
my80malibu Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 (edited) Very Snazzy... Any Idea who the Owner was is? Edited July 10, 2019 by my80malibu
oldcarfan Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 Regarding this kit, does anyone make a decal set for the engine, or maybe even a set of decals for the record-setting Bonneville Go-Kart that RMR sells?
