here are some new details
I had to face that my mockups were too fragile
If I had to redo this in the future, I would proceed totally differently
We are still learning, right?

In any case, to strengthen everything together, I had to use a metal rod
it's not that great, I would have liked to avoid it
but I could not paint the whole thing and then realise that it fall appart when putting the wheels on it.

You will notice that I reversed the front crossbar so that it will be used to support the engine block
I still have to add small studs and it should go

I like the final height
I think the look is pleasant

Nice fab work on this Dennis. Good revision on the exhaust system. It has to move up and down with the frame when the airbags levels are adjusted.

More, when you get a minute..........- please?

Paul...thx for bringing this one forward again....somehow I missed it earlier.

Denis....when you get the time, would sure love to see an update (no matter now small) on this project.  Really interesting scratchbuilding, creative and realistic chassis mods, and a killer overall stance.  Great work so far....TIM

Work so far is looking nice Dennis.  Always loved the 40 & 41 Ford pickups. The stance on yours is looking killer.
