I believe that the actual "paint chip" charts, were just that......paint chips. Steve

Eshaver Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Steve makes a GOOD point . I was in the auto collision business and the ones that like the Ditzler book , they're mostly accurate
restoman Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 For the most part, the colour chips are accurate. ...But, there are sometimes more than a few variances in the actual paint colour itself. Some modern colours can have upwards of a dozen variances of a single colour standard. The colour standard is what the chips are supposed to match...
