Brudda Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 I have a question. Does anyone make a 1961 impala 2 door? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
redneckrigger Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Round 2/AMT makes one, a two door hardtop. Kit number 1013, http://round2corp.com/product/1961-chevy-impala-ss/.
StevenGuthmiller Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 (edited) AMT or SMP originally made them in 1961. Lindberg did the SS hard top and convertible a decade ago, which has now been folded into "Round 2". I believe it is currently being sold in AMT packaging. Brutalform Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 The Lindberg Impala is priced very reasonable on eBay.
mike 51 Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 Wasn't there something quite wrong with Lindberg's first issue of the 61..something with the shape of the cowl/hood/windshield? I know they fixed it later.

But, one had to be careful for a few years after if picking one up at a swap meet.
