leafsprings Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 (edited) Inspired by Warren D's build, I decided to convert this '57 Ford Custom Cab into a refuse hauler. The packer body actually is a good fit for a lighter duty 1 - 1 1/2 ton truck. Details: Monogram garbage truck, frame, fuel tanks and 5 speed trans from Dodge L 700, aftermarket resin cab and wheels, rear fenders modified from White Freightliner splash guards, period correct Ford crest tail lights from Revell '56 F 100 and 272 V8 from a parted out first gear '56 F 100.
