Jordan White Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Just completed this kit. Tamiya 1999 Isuzu VehiCross built box and factory stock in GM Autumn Maple Metallic. It may not be a factory color, but based on the amount of colors they offered on the Japanese models, I don't think it's too out of line! In true Tamiya form, it went together with minimal fuss and turned out great.
Rusty92 Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Great job! I have never seen one of these in the wild. Really cool build! Thank you for sharing.
kelson Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 I like it!,have always been tempted to buy this kit,but never have for some reason.
Foxer Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 a eal beauty, I used Duplicolor's Autumn Maple Metallic on a '32 fendered Rod and really liked it.
crazyjim Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Pretty neat looking vehicle. Probably just right hand drive though?
Jordan White Posted May 6, 2019 Author Posted May 6, 2019 (edited) Yup, unlike some of their other kits it’s only RHD. Thank you for the comments! I built this kit before probably 15 years ago and found it in stores recently and wanted to do it again, but better! Edited May 6, 2019 by Jordan White
stavanzer Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 I had one of these kits. I finally traded to to a fellow club member who wanted it more than I did. Your build looks beautiful.
