AMT White Western Star take two

Recommended Posts

Hello all and hope everyone's well. My White Western Star project I had in another post was originally painted in an avocado green with black hood stripes. However that was scrapped when I found too many paint imperfections, and frankly didn't like the way it looked. So into the bath she went. Going for a mid/late 1970's O/O "Leased To" unit look. She is now painted in Gloss Meadow Green, and I changed the sleeper to the Mercury "Hot Box" unit as my original choice of the Transtar 4300 sleeper was scrapped because the hinge pin on the door broke. However while separating the parts the other evening I discovered I am missing both hood hinges, the rear brake cylinders that go into the holes in the wheel backings, and the two rails that glue onto the bottom of the sleeper and raise the sleeper off of the frame. I will have to source those somewhere. Not sure of what livery I will use for her. Suggestions, and commentary is appreciated. Thank you.
