BeakDoc Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 A lot of kit-bashing, grafting and scratch building put into this one. I think if I had it to do all over again I’d have gone with a different color. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20. Tips, pointers, comments and questions are always welcome. Thanks for looking.
shoopdog Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Your color choice is fine, that is one great looking truck!
Fish_65 Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Very cool truck Chris & I like the color choice too...well, I like everything about it. Nice work. It looks so much better with those tires than the kit supplied tires...beefy & rugged now. What kit did the Hemi come out of?
Bucky Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 (edited) I have no problem with the color on this one! It's a fine looking Ramcharger! I'm really liking the hood! Edited July 1, 2019 by Bucky
Geno Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 That is super sweet, especially the color. It fits it to a T. Great job Chris.
MeatMan Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 I like the color as well. I'm working on 4WD on the Lil Red Express, and I like what you've done in adding a modern mill and dash.

The Hemi and all the other SRT bits came from the Revell 2009 Challenger kit. Those tires are resin. They were cast as wheel/tire combo but they were 6 lug and I really didn’t care for the looks of them so I drilled them out and used the kit wheels. I’d love to know who cast them. I got them (at least) third hand and there was no manufacturers info. I appreciate you recognizing the hood, Bucky. I’m pretty proud of how well it turned out. Thank you to all that have commented. 16 hours ago, Bucky said: I have no problem with the color on this one! It's a fine looking Ramcharger! I'm really liking the hood!
Bucky Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Yessir...that hood should be resin cast for all to enjoy! LOL
espo Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 The paint looks fine to me. I have to agree with Bucky on the Hood, I like that also.
Tom Geiger Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Super! That's not the most detailed kit, but you got around that! Looks great!
olschoolkid Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 I think it's an excellent Ramcharger you have there. I really like the SRT concept, definitely not something I would have thought of but I like it a lot. Personally I think a Ramcharger with a 440 would be pretty neat.
Cpt Tuttle Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Nice build, it has something of a "restomod" vibe to it.
