So this is going to be a Packardberg? I like where you are going. It has the looooong lines of the Packard 745. Nice.

Only to the ones watching this thread. :P You use what you got.

Looks like the front axle is in the right location. Marked the rear one accordingly. I will attempt to match the drip moldings using wire.

Very nice work Pat

Always fascinating watching how multiple kits can be sourced to make one project possible

The problem with me though is that I tend to improvise rather than plan. Sometimes I paint myself into a corner.-_-

That's just a great way to hone problem-solving skills; first you gotta create the problem!

Thew rear axle is located and one end lengthened to match. Everything appears to line up. Working on the drip molding extensions.

I had hoped to hide the seam in the running boards with a decorative plate but it is too small, so I'll likely replace the running boards themselves.Had to notch the frame to clear the down draft carb.

A lot of cars of the late 20s had a simple linoleum running board covering trimmed in either aluminum or chrome. That would be a simple,  elegant and correct solution.

Performed the runningboardectomy. Found some that might fit with a bit of filing. And, of course, we are not discounting Eric's suggestion. I suppose that would be brown or gray battleship linoleum.

Found a pair of wind wings that looked like they might make. a nice vent window. After trimming them I decided to make some with a vertical trailing edge, I think it is classier.

Gave it a shot of primer to highlight the details that are there and the ones that are missing. In real life, this would be a large vehicle. I think it has the potential of looking classy.
