charger74 Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Hi i just finished this one a couple of days ago. The kit is from revell. The kit is mostly built box stock except for a little engine wiring. Thanks for looking, all comments are welcome
Bill Eh? Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Nicely finished. That's the first time I've seen the turbo version of this kit. I always thought that it was an interesting car in a quirky kind of way.
randyc Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Neat! Won't see many of those. Especially as nicely built. Good job!
Dann Tier Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Wow!!, very cool!!, this is actually the first one i've ever seen built!.....thanks for sharing!!!
Stef Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 EXP-ERT WITNESS: > Nice clean build of a forgotten "loser" > Paging Dr. Faust, we got a live one here > Round 2/Revellogram: please reissue your EXPs
1972coronet Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 I never knew that Revell or Monogram even made an EXP until now ! That stylling lokks like it's , um , "Up From The Skies" . Great work !
Rob Hall Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 (edited) I had forgotten about the Revell one... Monogram did one in 1/32nd, and the Mercury LN7 in 1/32nd also. I have only the MPC 1/25th one. Edited July 7, 2019 by Rob Hall

Classicgas Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Nice and very cool. I owned a 82 LN-7, built the Monogram 1/32 to match. I gotta clean that up and post it.
MrObsessive Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Now that's a long lost car! Very nice and clean! Almost bought one of these when they were new back in '83, but having never taken on a loan before I couldn't get anyone to cosign which was just as well. I ended up getting a '76 Toyota Corolla. Very slow, but very reliable and terrific on gas!
Tom Geiger Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 Nice! I have a few of the MPC kit, I’d always rescue them from the $5 table at shows!
Cpt Tuttle Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 I have always thought that the EXP is one of the ugliest cars Ford ever made, and I still think so, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with this build, and I like oddballs.
Dominik Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 interesting Thing...didn't knew the kit itself. I like those cars offside the Mainstream - well done! thanks for sharing
Dave Van Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 NICE WORK!!! I like builds of non mainstream cars.......
