espo Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Great looking Convertible. Ford sold a lot of those Stainless Steel Fender Skirts in that era. The up top is better looking than what you usually see.
Ron Hamilton Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 That is very nice. I have a nice unpainted one to restore and a black one I once restored that needs refreshing. I think I'm going to give it a "Perry Mason "vibe.
cobraman Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 My very first car was a 62 Ford so ya know I have to love this model. Nice work !
Brutalform Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Absolutely... a gorgeous build. Love those old Ford big cars.
StevenGuthmiller Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Nice Mark! I built mine in black, but I used the Chestnut interior combo. I think it made for a nice color combo. Built a Chestnut hard top for a buddy of mine some time ago. His dad had a 1:1 '62 Galaxie XL hard top in Chestnut when he was young, so he wanted something similar. I added the black top because his dad had added that "spray on" stuff to the top that was pretty popular in the day. Steve
