Consider the gauntlet thrown. The chassis and wheels for this are hidden in plain view. Don't count the lug nuts, though... Edited September 3, 2019 by Junkman
ChrisBcritter Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 (edited) I knew the term "Opel Blitz" would be coming soon - many many builders have used that chassis, but the wheels and military tires just aren't right - and I'd like to think Round2 would rather put my money in their kangaroo's pouch than see it go to Italeri or the aftermarket. Plus they can sell the wheels and tires as a parts pack, and they could get as many variations on that cab-and-chassis unit as Moebius does on their Ford pickups. Can't hurt to suggest it. junkyardjeff Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 I would not pay any more for them since I would never use the decals.
stavanzer Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Another Idea. The Coke S-10 Xtreme and the Coke Ranger Splash. New Decals, Pad Printed Tires, and run the kits as they are. A 90's Flashback. This would attract Coke Collectors, Pickup Truck Builders and the 90's are now fair game for Nostalgia Purchases. Guys who built those kits back then are about ready for a re-do. I think this would be easy.
Brian Austin Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 The Opel Blitz chassis and wheels are very different in design from their US couterparts.
leafsprings Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 An idea for converting the '53 Coke pickup to a '53 Coke flatbed. 2

paul alflen Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 Ken Kitchen of Kitchen Table Resins used to make it. He is out of business now . Maybe someone can 3-D print it?

stavanzer Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 I agree Patrick, But a new release of the same kit might do well.
