Can-Con
Just a little quickie project I had painted a couple years ago and finished up mostly while I was on vacation last month. Paint is Scale Finishes Emerald Turquoise inside and out. Wheels from a Revell '32 Ford with MPC Radial T/A tires. Swapped out the dual quad intake for a single 4bbl Edited August 10, 2019 by Can-Con

espo
Great looking day 2 build. Very nicely detailed trim. Not many remember the black rubber around the vent windows.
Snake45
VERY clean build! I daresay, that's about as well as that kit can be built. Well done and model on!

Curt
Sharp looking model, Steve. I have an AMT '67 Camaro that I was thinking of doing in that turquoise. After seeing how nice yours looks I think that confirms it. Beautiful!

I noticed that too, after I got done admiring the color (hue and application), and overall quality of build. Steve, did you make the rods supporting the sheet metal inside the engine bay? LouO
Very nice, tastefully built. What paint (type/color) did you use to paint the brake booster? I like it!
zakdoggi
Beautiful job on a classic muscle car. May I suggest blacking out the front scoop on the hood to give it the flow through look of the real thing. ???

Steve has it right. The Nickey hood scoops were moulded closed. Nice job, the replacement wheels lookmuch better than the ones in the kit. Molded closed, as on the original '67 Corvette hoods (which were open at the rear for cowl induction). However, on the '67 Vette, and on many of the "inspired by" clones, this area was painted black, which I personally think looks better. But I've seen them both ways, and to each his own. It's just a couple drops of Testors gold and silver enamels.
