randyc Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Well, I got in a hurry and it has smudges. I'll fix those. I lost screws. But it is done for a moment. For the hood, I didn't take a picture, but the top of the hinge pins need some grinding. And the hood is sensitive to how tight the screws are under the front. You can see in one of the photos that it's up a little still. I may put some CA in the screw holes when I find more screws. The interior comes out nice. I didn't do clocking but that would make it really nice. I couldn't find my 57 300 kit (yet), so I'm stuck work these chrome generic baby moons. Other that that, I just foiled and paint detailed. Also a comparison photo beside the Lincoln Premiere for size comparison. It's pretty close to 1/24 I'm thinking.
Snake45 Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 Doesn't look bad at all. If I had any interest in that car at all, you would have just sold me on getting one!
Gramps46 Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 Very well done and a nice addition to the collection. Sometimes it is really fun to find a model by "accident".
randyc Posted August 12, 2019 Author Posted August 12, 2019 I was well pleased with this one. Wish I had a 56 to go with it. I have a 1/18 Maisto '56 that I would like to get rid of, but not till I find a replacement in 1/24-25. I guess I could get the Moebius and build it up. It has two set of wheels as well. That would give me a set for this car. I would like to build that one.
randyc Posted August 13, 2019 Author Posted August 13, 2019 And my buddy got a 56 300 Moebius. He is sending it to me for the wheels. So I can fix the wheels to look more better. lol Thanks for compliments
randyc Posted October 4, 2019 Author Posted October 4, 2019 Here's a few photos with the Moebius wheel covers and with the Moebius 56 for size comparison. They are about the same size, really.
