Jurva Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 Belkits Opel Manta was built as a street car. That meant lowering the suspension and changing the wheels. Rims are from Beemax Volvo 240. Body color is Tamiya TS-100 and side stripes came from Hobby Design.
Peter Lombardo Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 looks terrific, I especially like the Recaro seats, I remember when they actually had those colors when they were a "big deal" in the 70's. Very nice.
Claude Thibodeau Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 Hi! Very clean built. Impressive interior... but the exterior paint wins the trophy. The consistency of the gloss and smoothness, even with so many creases, rivets, folds and all:Â Bravo! CT
espo Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 Great looking build. Interesting to see something we wouldn't normally see on this side of the "Pond". The interior detailing is very impressive. As an aside, I had an early '80's Camaro Z28 with the Recaro seat option with the same striping in a different color. I always thought that looked good. Â
NYLIBUD Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 What an excellent job you did...IÂ love the race car interior. The seats, and the dash are wild.Great work.
Dave B Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Great build of, to me, an unusual subject. Dave B
Luc Janssens Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 My first new car was almost a Manta, the last ones which were produced in Antwerp plant 1, but decided the then all new Omega instead, with a huge discount. Anyway beautiful built, great car from days gone bye...
zakdoggi Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Now that's one well-executed model. Superb job!
BeakDoc Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Such clean detail work. Cool subject matter too.
spencer1984 Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Excellent job on this, I think it's the first Belkits model I've seen finished!
Atmobil Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Great conversion, looks very much like something one could see in a magazine back then
