Chuck Most Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 This is the AMT kit with a 6 scale inch lift, wheels and tires from Scenes Unlimited, and scratch built steer horns. Paint is Testors Electric Pink, and the mud is a blend of Vallejo acrylic mud and Tamiya Flat Earth.
Bucky Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 WOW!!! Looks like it rolled right off a Texas cattle ranch!! Great job on the mud!!
avidinha Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 That looks awesome! Got any pictures of the suspension? I'm working on a similar project.
Plowboy Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 Only you would take a high dollar Escalade, slap horns on the hood and run it through the mud! Very realistic mud effect!
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 Man, you have got the mud down, dude. Nice.
89AKurt Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 Nice Cowboy Cadillac! I also would like to say the mud is very well done, like on the bottom of the mirrors, wiper tracks, overall I can tell you thought out every glop.
Chuck Most Posted September 15, 2019 Author Posted September 15, 2019 Something was missing...so I whipped up an LED light bar and slapped it on.

I don't but I did it with spacers and longer shocks in the back. Up front, I added small spacers to the front suspension and got the rest by mounting the tires down lower on the spindles. There are a couple 1:1's like this running around in my area. They aren't so high dollar once they get to the "buy-here-pay-here" part of their life. Nothing depreciates quite like a Cadillac. ??
Jon Cole Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Jeez, Chuck! You are one prolific builder! You have weathering down to an art form. Always good stuff.
Funkychiken Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 That weathering really sets it off, great vision!
