I bought this in October 2016. It's been a fun and sometimes fustrating ride to get her running right. But she's done and on the road again.

VERY nice. I LOVE the '55. :D

We had an 88 convert when I was a kid, two-tone blue with a white top. Couldn't ever understand why the old man traded it on a Falcon. I've tried to track her down, but no go. I did manage to find the '63 convert my mother had, down in Texas, and dragged it back up here. Needs lotsa love, been sitting since the '80s.

That's a Gorgeous car. My Mom had a '55 red & white 98 starfire convertible with a continental kit back in the early 60's. If I would have about 10 years older She would have never traded it in.

Fantastique Olds !  What engine's under that bonnet ? 303 Rocket ? Hydramatic ?

Thanks for all the complements guy's. She's got a 324 cdi with a Hydramatic. It's strange to have a car with no Parking gear. You have to put it in Reverse after the engine is shut off and then it's in Park.

Nice. Doug did you have a Packard as well or am I thinking of someone else?

Your thinking of someone else. I do have a second Olds which is a 94 Cutlass convertible with the DOHC 3.4L 6 cyl.

I'm thinking of putting a Continental Kit on mine. I found a factory one in Ohio, but I don't think the car will fit in my garage with one on the car. She just fits now.

Man!!! What a beauty!!! Has to be one of my all time favorite body styles!

One of these two tone green in a 2 door post was going to be my first car!

I was 13 and the guy next door had one and had an accident on our corner. It was in his back yard for a while when he got a 61 Bubble top Belair and told me I could buy his car for 150 bucks!

I started taking every odd job I could and even found a front bumper fender and radiator at a local towing company that had a small bone yard and the guy let me work off the parts!

Hurried home the day I had finally had enough money only to discover the car gone from their yard!

Waited for Everett to get home from work and asked where the car was and he said he didn't know and went around to see it was gone!

He went in the house and the yelling started as he was arguing with his dad about the car and who owned it.

Everett still had the title in his name but his dad sold it for enough to pay his bar tab!!!

He called the place his dad sold it but as was the custom back then they had already taken the car out and burned it out before taking it to the scrap yard.

The car had less than 40,000 miles on it!
