It's been a long time since I've completed a kit. For some reason I love torturing myself with race cars and all their decals, But to me they're just cool and make killer models. Alas lots of micro sol and heat and this one turned out pretty decent.

Wow, that's a really clean build!  I feel your pain regarding decals, bet the red ones on the fenders were fun.  What is with the clear under pan?

The under tray, directions call for it to be painted black but I didn't care to cover all the chassis detail. The rockers are molded into that piece so I had to mask off and paint those black.

Very nice. Hope mine turns out half as nice. I will be doing the same decal setup. What did you use for paint and clear?

Tamiya TS-14 and TS-13

Very nice, Steve, you did a great job on this.  This kit was one of the first Tamiya kits I ever purchased and I still haven’t built it...lol.  I hope mine turns out as nice as yours!
