DPNM Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Excellent workmanship Ray! A little bit better lighting and background and I'd be hard pressed not to think it was 1 to 1. This was one of the real bicycles I wish I had from back in the day. Never got one.
cobraman Posted September 17, 2019 Author Posted September 17, 2019 Thanks guys ! It is a cool little kit. Nice to build something different once in awhile.
89AKurt Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 My older brother had one. Cool subject! I assume it's a large scale.
cobraman Posted September 22, 2019 Author Posted September 22, 2019 Thanks Bruce. It is a pretty nice little kit.
James2 Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Very nicely done, brings back memories. It's a shame the cables weren't scaled better. The kit supplied ones look more like garden hose!
cobraman Posted September 22, 2019 Author Posted September 22, 2019 Thanks ! I do agree about the cables.

the goon Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Very nice. I wanted one of the those so bad, but my parents bought me a Fedco brand knockoff. Not quite the same. Mark
cobraman Posted September 23, 2019 Author Posted September 23, 2019 Thanks Mark. I had a phony one also. With a Leopard seat no less ! ?
dimaxion Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Wow , is this a kit ? Looks like a "is it Real or Model" . Kudos , excellent replica . Thanx ..
Edward Gore Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Realistic looking! I like the color you chose to paint it.
cobraman Posted September 30, 2019 Author Posted September 30, 2019 Thanks guys ! It really is a nifty little kit.

I had a Schwinn sting ray but it was a single speed. Wanted the shifter but could not afford it. I paid $69 dollars for the sting ray single speed. Great memories!!! Great build!!!
crazyjim Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 How cool is that bike? I remember them but never had one. Excellent work, Ray.
Jantrix Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Very cool build up. Nice work. This was THE bike to have back in the 70's. There was one on our block and lots of jealous kids. Me, I had an Iverson Roadrunner. A local Queens based company I've heard.
drodg Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Looks so cool. I would guess like the MPC Honda CB750 not an easy build.

They were sort of a budget bicycle company and I've heard the quality of the bikes was poor, but I liked mine and rode the wheels off it for many years.
