avidinha Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 I started this one a few years ago and recently decided that I should pull it back out and finish it. I modified the kit by cutting the top off and lowering the suspension. I used resin bumpers to convert it to an LS. I made the boot, the license plate and the headlight lenses. I used eBay wheels with Pegasus tires. The paint is Duplicolor Cayman metallic.
espo Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Looks great and I like the convertible conversion. This lets you show off the nice interior also. The LS front end treatment is interesting and I had forgotten about that model of Monte Carlo. I would like to know where you got that part as I might want to use that on a Monte Carlo also.

Unfortunately I don't remember who I got it from. Jevries makes a higher quality conversion, but he only releases a few at a time, and they're gone fast.
Lunajammer Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Quite a handsome version of the subject. I'm undecided on the wheels, but I like the over-all fresh take.
