Ah, we have here a perfect example of how inexpensive this hobby is!  Of you were to add the cost of the kit and all the supplies and divided it by 186, I have feeling that it will be just few bucks per hour of enjoyment (or sometimes frustration). :D

Yea, a few bucks cheaper, than going to Las Vegas and doing track time in a real Ferrari (forget the name of the track, kept seeing their ads after I checked it out and got sort of ticked off about it ?).

Nice work Kurt !

Looks like the lady needs some sun, after a long winter?

I thought this was concourse finish,...bug splatters ..?

Cheers

Thanks!  She is working on a tan, didn't want to sunburn her!  And yes, I know it's not a Pebble Beach 100 points build, so it's driven.

Fantastic Kurt.  I've been remiss in checking out your progress.  I love the result and absolutely learned some tricks along the way from your descriptive.    Congrats on a great car.  tim

Thank you very much!  I miss other projects too, no worries.  Glad you have some tricks to try out.

Thank you too!  Welcome, it didn't cost me anything. ?  Canopy Express is really close, then the '69 Chevy pickup.

Oh, and re. those valve stems...what gauge wire do you like for making those?  They look great!

I will have to look, it's music wire but the package has the size.

Wow looks absolutely phenomenal!!!

Thank you so much! ?

Tried to take pictures this afternoon, had a breeze knocking the figures and Daytona hood over, and a shadow suddenly cast upon the scene, so have to try another day with no breeze and some overcast.

Kurt, that is absolutely FANTASTIC! The car ain't so bad either! :D

Seriously, you did a bang up job on what's not that detailed of a kit, but your added items really make this one a KNOCKOUT! Come to think of it, it's been MANY years since I built a Ferrari and this gives me some inspiration. I just happen to have this kit.........hmmm........... ;)

Great build and I love that Texaco picture, cool man!!!

Thank you!  I built that diorama, figuring it would come in handy.  Makes a huge difference in presentation.

Appreciate it very much.  I'm surprised how many have said they have this kit, the only one I've seen is the one I snagged.  I keep seeing Porsche models here, so.......
