Paul Payne Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 At 66, this is my first rat rod. Had a blast digging through the stash for all the parts. I had bought the resin grille and hood, cab, and pickup bed(not used) some years ago, but the bug had not yet bit. As you can see, even Lady Luck is the worse for wear!
Jantrix Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 That's a great looking rat. And it looks like you had fun with it. Well done.
bobthehobbyguy Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 A fun looking build. Like the hood ornament.. Rat rods provide an opportunity to use up some parts box spares.
Cpt Tuttle Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Nice, maybe the hood ornament is a bit too much in my opinion but that's just a matter of taste. Admit that frankenstein builds like this are fun sometimes!
ybsluos Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 Wicked Paul! Style points for the 1/20th F1 slicks, I love those on a 25th and 24th scale car.- Mark
Bills72sj Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 When I first saw Rat Rods at car shows, I did not like them. But now everyone I see I love to study the artistry and the creativity.
bisc63 Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 Great looking build; love the creativity that went into this! Needs rattier wheels IMHO, but very successful rat as is! Well done.
Zippi Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 Haha....pretty kewl looking Rat Rod. I like the triple headlights.
Paul Payne Posted February 15, 2022 Author Posted February 15, 2022 Thanks to all, thanks for looking up older builds!
Grumpa Posted February 23, 2022 Posted February 23, 2022 You certainly captured the look Paul! I swear I've seen this as a 1:1!
