kurth
This is the first of the recent Coca Cola kits I really want. The 70s style vending machine is just too cool. Sourcing the correct wheels and hubcaps does look like the biggest challenge, now that it has been pointed out, I can not ignore it. The faded retired van Casey posted really looks like a fun weathering challenge.
Sledsel
Yes, I will get this... I have 2 of the Cruising vans, but this is pretty cool, but I will need to open the rear doors. Hope the Coke Machine is not to tall to fit inside. I have one correct wheel and dog dish (molded together in black) for this off an unknown kit. I may need to get a resin casting kit at HL
Jim B
The Coke machine will probably be too tall to fit in the van, but time will tell. Does anyone know if Scenes Unlimited offers the correct wheels? What about Fireball?

niteowl7710
A full size vending machine wouldn't fit in a 1:1 van, that's why you need that C600 Stakebed for...?.
av405
These would be the best bet as far as wheels/hubcaps go: http://www.madmodeling.com/Item/dogdishtruck
Goose1957
One of the Coke kits I'm looking forward to. The other is the C600 stake bed. Need that to haul all of the vending machines from all the other kits, lol. Jeff
Jim B
Looks like Scenes Unlimited does offer a 5 lug Ford 15" steel wheel: https://scenesunltd.com/products/1940-50s-ford-steel-wheels-s09 No idea if they are correct for a 1977 E150, though; but they do look nice. No hub cap, though. Casey
I don't recall the Ford steel wheels having any significant detail difference to them, so if you're using steel wheels and a wheel cover, the center web/lug area is going to be covered, so any decent looking steel wheel in the correct diameter will do. As far as I can tell, these are the correct factory wheel covers for a '77 Ford 2WD Econoline (Type 10 in first image below), but I have never seen these offered:
stavanzer
It looks like the Type 6 is what Round2 tooled up for the Cruisin' Van, and are including in the kit. Before that the kit had what look like the Type 9 wheelcovers in it. If you wanted that style, but the Phantom Van that Round2 had out in 2012. https://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/kits/amt/pages/amt_0767_parts5.shtml

Most of the fleet (Ma Bell, Coca-Cola, AT&T, etc.) vans I've seen are the base model with very few options, and redline tires would've cost extra. Looks like the 16 ounce returnable bottles and crates will be pre-finished items, but I am interested to see the soda (pop) machine up close. Those extras will be must haves for my diorama projects..nice going Round2..!
Dave Van
The van is for servicing the Coke machine not carrying it upright......that's my spin anyway! ?

They would also be correct for the Monogram 1987 F-250 truck and for the base XL line of F-150s from the 1980's to the 1990's. I think the closest substitute out there are the Moebius hubcaps. I've tried snagging up extra sets whenever I see them for cheap on ebay to use on other projects. 14 hours ago, cargostar said: Guess I need to finish up my long wheelbase conversion and side doors... I've been anxiously waiting for you to finish these so I can buy one or two. Also more of your 80's Econoline grills. It's great timing that the Econoline is being rereleased at the same time as your offering.
stavanzer
I'm about ready to buy on of these. I'm not a Van Fan normally, but this kit pulls me in.
Dave Van
WELL!!!!! not a Van fan???? Kidding...I got one....coke bottles are clear green with decals for different eras....and the machine is different than other Coke machines offered. Neat decals for all too. May need another! Renegade
Put me down foe two. One for the girlfriends Coke model collection and the other for the goodies for my Texaco station. Not sure about the other van. Kinda leaning towards an old custom van from the 70s or 80s. Way beyond my pay level but it's fun to dream. There are two vending machines, one is a 50s era one that comes with the '53 Ford and others of that ilk, the other is a 1970s style job that comes with this kit, the C600 Stake Bed, the upcoming Pinto, etc.

ranma
Anyone have pictures of the coca machine, and the bottles from the ford van kit??? ( of the actual pieces that is , not from the box art)?
bill lanfear
I have been working on wheels and hubcaps for this kit. I have the wheels to satisfaction but the hubcaps are not cooperating. The lettering is just too small for my equipment. I made some flat and maybe decals will be the answer. Hope to have the wheels on the website within the week along with Dodge stuff and other things. Here is what I have at this point. Tire is just for reference (regular kit tire from the parts box).
