This is another refugee from the dirty and dusty model shelves.  This Monte Carlo SS was washed, polished and reassembled.  The body was not painted and there is a metallic in the plastic that shimmers in certain light.  The engine was wired, but the model is built box stock.

Great looking survivor you got there Mike. Always loved these Monte Carlos... Those years of Montes, Buicks, Cutlass, Grand Prix and Malibu/El Camino are some of my favorite cars of all time.

Although I'm not a GM fan, I agree about this era of mid-size GMosity.

This cleaned and polished up great. The 305 HO engine, the 4 speed auto/overdrive transmission and 373 gears made a pretty good car for that era.
