modelcarcrazy Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 This is one I had posted before, but photobucket decided my photos had to go, so I have taken some new photos with my phone, and here it is. It’s the Heavy Chevy from Monogram. I painted it with Boyd’s Black and Blue Pearl over Testors Silver with Testors clear. I polished it with polishing clothes and Meguiar’s scratch x 2.0. The wheels, tires and brakes came from Pegasus along with some plug wires and bits of wire under the hood for some added detail. I built this one about 15 years ago, it’s held up pretty good. 1
Koellefornia Kid Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 That's a sweet Chevy, Tony! Paint looks awesome and I really like the wheels and underhood details!
Plowboy Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Nice looking Chevelle! I really like the color on it! I think this is the first model I've seen with Phat Daddys on it. I've thought about getting a set. But, I thought they would look too big. But, they look right on your Chevelle. Not too big at all. Nice work!
Brutalform Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 (edited) Very nice build. Looks like it was just built. I was never a big fan of those style wheels, but they look perfect on this build. I still wish that Boyd paints were still available. Nice color choice. Edited October 30, 2019 by Brutalform
stavanzer Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 I normally do not care for the oversized wheels. They look Just Right on your Chebbie! Great Colour too! Sharp Build.
Dragonhawk1066 Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Very sharp and nice underhood details! Great color and outstanding paint job!
