Nacho Z Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 I recently finished up this Revell Snaptite Max kit. Overall, not a bad kit. It is nice to build a straight forward kit without all of the detailing. You can find the WIP here: I hope you all enjoy this one. Let me know what you think.
Ramfins59 Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 That's a great looking Chevy John....... Impressive paint job.
Tom Geiger Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 Looks great in those colors! I actually liked it before you added the red, the gold roof with silver body looked good too!

I was sharing my work in progress with a group of modeling friends and one of them said the same thing.
Belugawrx Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 Beautiful paint work and finish John! What a clean build that is ? How did you keep the glass so clean? , I have a problem with that... Cheers
FordRodnKustom Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 WOW CLEAN! Outstanding color choices and paintwork. Well done!
Bucky Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 WOWEEE! Great color combo! Superb shine! Exquisite build! TOP SHELF!!
Dragonhawk1066 Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 Very cool looking '57 Chevy! Great paint job!
Phildaupho Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Very nicely done. Handsome car. This kit is worth buying just for the wheels and tires.
Geno Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Not a '57 Chevy fan but man you killed it. Great job.
Nacho Z Posted December 2, 2019 Author Posted December 2, 2019 Wow! Thanks for all of the nice comments, guys! I thought it was a nice kit for a SnapTite. I’m no expert on 57 Chevys but had read that this was a good kit, body wise. Based on the comments, the color combo was a good choice! ? Thanks again!

How did you keep the glass so clean? , I have a problem with that... Cheers Bruce, not sure if you saw my posts in the “Workbench” section. This was the second set of glass. The first set broke on me when I tried to...”cough cough” force it into submission. What you see is just the kit glass with no work done to it. However, in the past I have completely dipped glass into a bath of Future with amazing results. Thanks for the comment!
David G. Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Excellent paintwork! I wish I could get paint to lay down like that. Of course, the rest is well done too but the paint really makes it pop. David G.
TooOld Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Love the Mica Red with the Gold and matching the spears to the top was a great idea ! Also I checked out your build thread and the interior also came out great , nise work !
