Snake45
Was at Dollar General yesterday and ran across a semi-interesting line of toy cars. They were a little too big to be 1/24-25 so I didn't buy any, but the bodies actually looked fairly nice--late model Mustang, Camaro, Corvette, maybe a couple others. I think they were only $5. Would make great Christmas presents for kids just a little too young for models, say 3-5 years. Not sayin' these are worth a special trip to DG, but if you just happen to be in or near one, might be worth a look. Just found them on the DG site. Called Rev Rollers, "assorted" variety. A Mustang is pictured. https://www.dollargeneral.com/rev-rollers-friction-powered-toy-car-assorted.html Edited December 2, 2019 by Snake45
espo
I think the local Wal Mart has something just like that, but it's more than $5. This would make a great stocking stuffer for that little boy or girl who likes cars.
Casey
I saw these at least five years ago at Tuesday Morning under a different brand name, then Round2 sold some under the AMT brand, so this appears to be the third go around. They are close to 1/20 scale, but the bodies are slightly distorted, so maybe it's best they are in the toy realm, rather than accurate scale replicas. goldfinger
I picked up one of those and kept it for when a kid came over. My wife ended up babysitting our friends 9 year old boy on short notice . I gave him this to build and it was a hit!
