Reuhkapelti2 Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Hello. This De Tomaso was first time built some years ago, but I was never quite happy how it turned out. It is based on a Nascar Ford Thunderbird body, heavily modified. The chassis was taken and shortened from 90's Chevy Impala police kit. The interior is mostly scratch built and now repainted. As is the whole body too, 'coz I made some major improvements to it. It' s got a new hood, sides of the body are newly shaped, new bumpers, grill, headlights, exhaust, windows... all new. The paint was semimatte blue, now bright red. There's a building story in "Under Construction" . What do you think? Feel free to comment, thanks.
spencer1984 Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Your hard work on this has paid off, that's an outstanding conversion!
Phildaupho Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 An absolutely mega project. This is the sort of model car building I enjoy most - making something interesting from almost nothing,
