stavanzer Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Isn't it about time for Shad to gift us with the first video from 2020? I am truly Curious to see how Round2 starts 2020.
niteowl7710 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Well so far the January kit list is the '70 Impala Fire Chief, Ed Roth Mailbox Trike, '77 Pinto Popper Coca-Cola, and Tyrone Malone Hideout KW Hauler Truck.
Sledsel Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Well, I am pretty sure they will be taking my money.......
stavanzer Posted December 23, 2019 Author Posted December 23, 2019 Mine too, LOL! I'm already in for the Pinto Popper and the Fire Chief Car.
the other Mike S. Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 (edited) They sure like reissuing that '70 Impala a lot recently. I hope they mold the Fire Chief version in an authentic Cranberry Red that can be polished out. Edited January 2, 2020 by the other Mike S.

Casey Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 Here are a few newly announced 2020 Round2 kits: AMT 1189 - 1960 Ford Ranchero with Coke Chest(?) AMT 1190 - 1965 Ford Fairlane Modified Stocker AMT 1191 - 1965 Pontiac GTO AMT 1197 - '41 Plymouth Coupe (Coca-Cola) AMT 1216 - 1988 Ford Mustang GT MPC 877 - Bill Jenkins Pro Stock 1972 Vega
RichCostello Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 Great to see that 65 Fairlane stocker. That is one I've never had, but always wanted. When will it be available?
Jantrix Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 I've always though the Fairlane stocker was silly loking with those enormous drag slicks front and back. And whats with that hood overhang? Although as far as Coke decals go, they missed a cool opportunity by not adding them to this kit as sponsorship decals.
Snake45 Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 What IS the deal with that hood? Is it from some other kit?
Oldschool4x4 Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 (edited) Just what does "Street Stock Strip" tm mean? Its not street, its no way stock, I guess if its four wheel drive it could blast down the strip.? Edited January 7, 2020 by Oldschool4x4
Bucky Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 (edited) https://youtu.be/HQGzdrln44w See if this link works. Edited January 7, 2020 by Bucky

The '65 Fairlane Mod Stock, is the 3rd out of 9 potential Mod Stock kits. I am excited to see that. The Grumpy Jenkins Vega is very nice to see. That leaves the Mustang & the GTO. I read a whole lotta Guff about the GTO kit, so it will probably remain a mixed bag of a kit, with two sharply drawn sides. The "Haterz" and the "It's the only Game in Town" guys. I have no Monkey in That Circus, let me tell you. The Mustang is a kit I should know, but my memory draws a complete blank on this kit. I'll wait to see what it looks like on the shelf. For Now, I don't need one. It will be interesting to see what comes out over the next 6 months. Round2 will sell me three of the Mod Stock kits, and a couple others. ('70 Fire Chief Car & and the Pinto Popper, at a minimum) It has been a good year already, at least for me.

1972coronet Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 Grumpy Jenkins' 1972 Vega P/S . If this were the only kit that Round2 releases for MMXX , then I'm okay with that ! ____________________________________________________ That MPC 1988 Mustang GT was last cosmetically-updated for the 1987 model year . Under that so-so reskin , it's the same old Mustang Fox Body kit that dates-back to c.1979 . It's not terrible ; it's just not stellar . I just hope that those totally incorrect B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A tyres are still included ( not ! ) . ____________________________________________________ I have the Ranchero kit in its last iteration . I may have to get another one now... Chevy Mark IV engine notwithstanding ( haha ) . ___________________________________________________ Grumpy Jenkins' 1972 Vega Pro Stock !!!!!
Fat Brian Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 Y'all can thank me for the 88 Mustang, I overplayed for one earlier this year. I still could use another one though for the body kit. I'll have to see if the headlights from the Revell notchback fit it.
DukeE Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 Early Grump action FTW. Mustang GT ok, agree on BFG's. Needs Gatorbacks from Vette kit. And an HL fix. 5 spokers would be cool. Sold my Ohio George 60 Ranchero, need a 60 though. Dumb. So I'll pop that too.
stavanzer Posted January 8, 2020 Author Posted January 8, 2020 Curious to see what the "Coke" extra is in the '60 Ranchero?
Fat Brian Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 (edited) Calling it a chest puts me in the mind of those old deep freezer type chillers with the sliding top. Edited January 8, 2020 by Fat Brian

All had that logo on them and almost all of them had bad box art. The hood fits on the model....someone didn't even look at it when they spent 3 minutes doing the box photo.

WGaree Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 any release date given on the Vega? out of the group it’s the only one I don’t own already or a subject I care enough about to buy
