junkyardjeff
Got another 34 big truck in the works, used a tanker trailer frame to extend the frame and going to use a Columbia 2 speed rear end from the Revell 40 kit to simulate a big truck 2 speed rear and this one is going to be powered by a Y block. Not sure if its going to be a flatbed or dump.
misterNNL
Are you using the AMT '34 for the cab?

maxwell48098
I built a 1934 Ford pumper back in the '80's using an original AMT '34 Ford pickup for the fenders, cab, and front frame. Everything else was scratch built, including the wheels and tires. Edited December 31, 2019 by maxwell48098
junkyardjeff
decided its going to have a dump bed on it,going to get some pics of a early 40s dump bed thats in a local junkyard and see if I can duplicate it.
junkyardjeff
The frame is taking shape and will have to decide what color its going to be and get the rims painted so I can finish the suspension since I might have to raise the front up some. junkyardjeff
I was going to build a dump bed but that would take too long so it will be a flat bed
