I finally found a car in which I actually have a kit for. And that's the Porsche 911 (993 Body Style) GT2 featured in the film 'Love the Beast'. I plan to have this be a single turbo, basically all tube frame monster, with the exterior sticking mainly to the original. There are only two stills I have found online of the car, which does leave me a bit of wiggle room.

My must-haves are as follows:

• Yellow Paint.

• Yellow/Flat Black interior.

• Slick turbo set up with intercooler.

• Number 67 sideplates on the doors.

I have begin with the engine, as once I get the rear sub-assembly done, I can begin with a bit of the chassis fabrication. Trying to keep the piping as short as possible so as to prevent turbo lag that would apply to a real build. I have also built a heat shield for the turbo to try and keep the intercooler a bit cooler. Also need to make an oil cooler.

Did some sleuthing around, and decided to just buy the movie. Here's some shots I have from it. Which, to my surprise, the car is right hand drive! So I gotta do that conversion. I do like the interior though. Although my build will get a passenger seat, and some radio tech. Also found out the center of the wheels need to be black.

Scale production makes a great set of wheels for this car. They have separate centers and metal rings.

I've been looking around at bits. But the kit wheels will suffice. Plus I could use that money to get all the plumbling bits.

This is going to be awesome. The turbo looks great by the way, where did it come from?

BNL Resins! This is the #1 Turbo, which has an integrated waste gate, kinda small, but they do have others without the waste gate and in larger sizes. I wanted a smaller one to keep spool times low. Might end up cutting off the waste gate though. Just have to decide if I can fir the piping around it or not.

That's an awesome looking turbo for sure. I'll have to give them a look.
