This is a low budget die-cast production vespa. I have forgotten the scale of this but I am guessing a little over 1/20 scale. I screwed off the Vespa in 3-4 parts, so it would be easier to paint, weather and gain access to certain areas. The speedometer was a just a stick-on. So I made a glass, with cracks in it and glued it in place. This made a huge difference, lifting the model to a degree. I left the tyres and rims relatively clean, to show that it was newly bought as the first stage of a renovation project.

Now that is grungy for sure but the seat looks to be in good shape.

The seats were part of the renovation plan. :)

Charles...... you are able to see something in a model that appears to be just an accurate toy, and then you go to work transforming the ' toy ' into a scale model. This Vespa scooter is one such project, but I also remember your excavator build, which was brilliant.
