ibj40 Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 There are crew cabs. And there are duallys. Why can't we have one that combines both features, which essentially make it the mainstay of all forms of auto racing transportation?
kilrathy10 Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 (edited) I haven't been able to figure out why there haven't been any, either... Can't wait to pull the trigger on these, though... I can build an "aftermarket" dually bed for a gooseneck trailer for them... Just gotta figure out what wheels to use... These are 1/18 scalers that I've found in recent days... ibj40 Posted February 8, 2020 Author Posted February 8, 2020 Be careful about which one's of those are resin versus diecast. I had the black version of the Artisan Chevrolet, and up close, wasn't really impressed with it, and turned around and resold it. Haven't been able to find one of the Dodge Ram's at a reasonable enough price to pull the trigger, knowing that I may take it apart. Not familiar with the Ford from American Excellence.
kilrathy10 Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 (edited) Well, I know the Ford is resin cast, but that would make it easier to chop, I think, and I'm not a big fan of the Chevy, either, and you're right about the prices... Only reason I haven't pulled the trigger... But that Ram looks mighty tasty... I think there is a black version, as well.... And, now, I found this one, too.... Edited February 9, 2020 by kilrathy10
