Vincent631 Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 Another thread, two nights in a row. Kind of hard to ignore. My build of a '71 Cuda 426. The paint is model master Sublime green. I started and painted this car in January 2018. My first model build with bare metal foil!!! No looking back now. The pictures do not do it justice. The shaker hood scoop needs to be trimmed down. I just painted it and notice it won't let the hood sit flat. What do you think??
Geno Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 Sweet, what's not to love about a Hemi 'Cuda? Great build.
Dragonhawk1066 Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Looks good! Nice job on the wheels. That shaker gave me problems as well, especially since I had plug wires coming out of the distributor. I really had to cut, grind and trim it to get the hood to set right on it.
72 Charger Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Great looking Cuda . but I believe I could do with a black wash in the grills
Roadrunner Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 Nice! I'll probably end off selling my '71; not even really sure why I bought it in the first place, to be honest.
angelo7 Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 (edited) You got to see this link. Maybe you have already. https://www.hemmings.com/blog/article/do-not-go-gentle-1971-plymouth-hemi-cuda/ Edited February 16, 2020 by angelo7
RickRollerLT1 Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Nice work as usual! I salute you for getting the BMF to stay put and lay smooth. The last few batches of it I used a while ago barely stuck to anything and profusely crumbled up.
