crossfire 2004 Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Just scored this on EBay here in the U.K. Never seen another example, anyone here built it and have pictures to share ?
Alan Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Had that kit as a youngster, it is cool but could use a 3D printed engine and trans as both are sub par. Alan
Roadrunner Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 I like the kit, but not real wild about the scale.
crossfire 2004 Posted March 5, 2020 Author Posted March 5, 2020 Thanks guys, still waiting for a photo of a completed build though- anyone ?

Daddyfink Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 (edited) This kit is a bit of an oddity. It has a Logghe style chassis for a funny car, a Blown Big Block Chevy with street T style headers. And, it comes in 1/20th scale. I got this one a few years ago and it is a total Glue Bomb. I guess I could use some of the parts from the other MPC 1/20 kits, like the Pop Corn Wagon for restoration or to improve it some. Wish I had the box. Edited December 16, 2020 by Daddyfink

The MPC Baja Bug, Spitfire Corvette Funny car and the Yankee Clipper AMC funny car all share most of the same parts in 1/20th scale with the Altered T. Edited December 16, 2020 by magicmustang
crossfire 2004 Posted December 16, 2020 Author Posted December 16, 2020 Thanks for the replies guys, I have actually recently built my Altered T kit. It’s ok but a bit of a mish mash of styles as Daddyfink pointed out. 1
