I'm going on vacation in Florida on Mar11.  Are there any good hobby stores to visit?  I'll be in Orlando,  Miami and in between,  as well as a 2 day trip to the west coast.   Thanks for any info!  Cheers!

In Orlando, off of SR50 (Colonial Dr) is Colonial Photo and Hobby. Easy to find, they've been the go to since I lived there in the 90's. After that, Orlando is pretty dry...IDK about Miami....

It's been a LONG time, but you can try Crown Hobbies on Coral Way in Miami.  The used to have a pretty good selection.  The best hobby store in Miami by far was Orange Blossom Hobbies, but sadly they closed in 2001.

Crown Hobbies is pretty much a bust anymore. Phil's in Pinellas Park (St. Pete area) is good, but pretty far out of your way. Micro Macro Mundo in Miami has a nice selection, but the service is atrocious and the hours can be erratic. Family Hobby Center here in Naples is a nice old-school hobby shop if you're in the area. (if you do come this way from Miami check out the Revs Institute, which is a truly amazing auto museum focusing on vintage sports and racing cars!) Orange Blossom Hobbies was truly a great hobby shop, and it's a shame that it closed. It was worth the drive from Naples.
