stinkybritches Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 I found this 65 GTO at Rite Aid. I don't think it's too bad considering the price.
Gramps46 Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 Glad to see these are still hitting the shelves in the Rite Aids that are still left. Thanks for sharing.
Geno Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 I like that Rob, I especially like it with the Hurst wheels, hmmm, another one to consider for Snake Fu-ing lol.
Snake45 Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 That's a nice model, nicer in some ways than all reissues of the AMT '65 GTO kit, such as the entire front and rear ends. I thought the roof wasn't shaped right, but was able to carve the correct shape (more or less) out of it and preserve the factory paint while doing it. Details here: I also have a gold one like yours...somewhere. I haven't been able to find it for years, but I know its around here SOMEWHERE. Someday I'll probably fix that one, too.
stinkybritches Posted March 15, 2020 Author Posted March 15, 2020 I'm a Ford man, but this GTO jumped out at me. I really like what you get from the Wellys for $10.
randyc Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 I like it. My son picked this one out for his own at Rite Aid. Surprised me.

Elsewhere they sell for up to $30. I've bought some for good prices from diecastmodelswholesale.com, usually between $15 and $20.
