With all this time on my hands I thought I’d submit some pics. I hope you enjoy!

This was a quick build that went together better than I thought! It is the amt body, interior and wheels and tires on the Revell 32 frame from the 29 kit.

Hope you enjoy

That is stunning - I am going to have to pinch that idea. What a beautifully simple conversion.

It is satisfying to see that the exhausts on the nailhead help divert your eye from the AMT 32 Section job. Wheels and tyres look great also.   I have Vicky bodies, I have 29 hiboy frames - this will happen!

Cheers

Hi!

Perfect blend... It looks like it came out of the Rodder's Journal! Even the colour "dates" it in an appropriate manner. Bravo!

PS: I LOVE those American front "spoke" wheels. I'll dig out the copy of the AMT kit in my stash to verify if they are included. Thanks!

Absolutely beautiful concept and stunning execution! Not crazy about the color but I love everything else about this model.  VERY well done and model on! B)

AH! You beat me too it. I have both those same kits out on the bench testing to the chassis swap. It's nice to see they work so well together. I'll get to it eventually.

Yours looks terrific. Real nice work.

Thanks for the comments. Like I said it was one of those rare times things just fit together.

Russell....that came out great!    Congrats.....btw what color is the paint?   It is perfectly matched to the build era of your model...….  TIM

Hi Tim, thanks for comment I’m glad you like my colour choice as I wanted a fifties/sixties vibe. As for the colour it is a custom mix from my local auto paint store.

Beautifully done. The color reflects the time period as well as the interior. I haven't seen a good looking Vicky in a long time and I like this one. Great detailing on the front suspension since everything is out in the breeze.

That's a great looking hot rod! Nice build, tasteful, great  paint and engine, very realistic! Is that the stovebolt   from the older Revell model A  roadster kit?
