Revell 2006 Chevy SSR

Here is the beautifully-engineered and molded Revell SSR in factory touch-up Pacific Blue. Cleared with Duplicolor and polished with cloths and Tamiya Finish compound. A fun build of a unique vehicle!

Very nice! I looked at your album at the engine and chassis shots too.

Back when these were new GM had regional drive events that they invited current owners to. My buddy got invited so we went two years in a row. They had a small course coned off and let you drive these. What fun!  Like a Corvette pickup!

I went to a few of those as well. IIRC, they called it Auto Show In Motion. They also had competitors' cars to drive as well. Complete base model Mercedes and BMW to compare to loaded Cadillacs. The thing I remember the most about the SSR was how much it squeaked and rattled.
