Finished as of 21April2020. All box stock, painted with Testors rattle can, Vallejo and Tamiya colors. Had a real one as a kid, enjoyed it a lot. Really enjoyed the build as well. The tires gave me fits.  Lugs not wanting to line up, halves not matching up. Not sure how much due to my efforts, how much due to manufacturing. But for my first motorcycle build, I am happy.

Very clean and realistic looking. The ones that I remember seeing were painted red, but they may have been a different model.  The more I look at the details in the picture it looks very real to my eyes.

Really nicely done.

I just finished mine before the virus isolation, same kit issues as you but it does build nicely with some care.
We had a red one exactly like this, a complete gutless wonder

Thanks! espo, they had several colors on these. Green, red, a golish/ yellow, and a blue at least. Never did look to see if just optional, or the colors changed by year. Twokids, i like yours, and I feel better knowing I’m not the only one facing those issues!

I know this is an old thread but nice build Dave.  Our family Dentist buys and restores these old 1:1 Honda Trail 70 mini bikes and other old bikes as well.  He had a 2 story building built just to display all 200+ bikes he has resotred.  He even keeps a couple inside the denist office.  I was thinking about putting one together to give to him to display in the dentist office.
