Thanks.  Grew up in that era and to me it was the era of the best looking drag cars ever. Have a few more I will be posting.

Thanks!!  Its the Revell Jungle Jim funny car with the Slixx decals.. Had the MPC version back in the 70's.

Great job Mike!  As Scott said, these drag racing cars were from the greatest era because they were looking like their OEM versions.  Nice clean build!!!

Probably one of ...if not the best looking flopper of the period. Bar none. 

Ive got a built Mpc version of this car . A few builders and one that will remain unbuilt as ling as i own it.

 

I built this car back when the kit was new. So it holds a special place in my case.

My favorite funny car of all time ! I was at lions last drag race the night this car blew up at the end of the track, I was 12 years old and was able to grab a piece of the body , I took it home , about a week later my mom threw it in the trash!!! Your car looks awesome!
