HotRodaSaurus Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Is there an episode of the Munsters where Herman buys the Koach? Or does the car just appear in the series. I know about Hot Rod Herman but the car is well established by that episode. John
Tom Jackson Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Lilly Has the car built for Herman . she goes to a local car lot and finds a t bucket and another car and has the dealer combinded to make the coach
BKIN10SECS Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Yes the Koach was an episode. How the Koach came to be was...Lilly wanted to buy Herman a birthday gift. She ends up at a used car lot and proceeds to tell the salesman that she wanted him to combine certain things from vehicles that he had on his lot.....whala....The Munster Koach (my kind of girl). The Drag Coffin was a joint effort between Herman and Grampa. If you ever have a lil extra time, watch some of these 60's TV shows. Each show had their own make of cars sponsored by different companies ie: Chevy-Bewitched, Chysler-Beverly Hillbillies and so on. You can really see some neat stuff.
HotRodaSaurus Posted October 22, 2008 Author Posted October 22, 2008 (edited) Thanks for the replies guys Now can you give me the episode title please. TIA, J Edited October 22, 2008 by HotRodaSaurus

You know I always found that fact with the Hillbillies to be funny, I mean the main background character of the show, was a Truck made from an Oldsmobile Touring Car..... Why GM wasn't smart enough to back them, is beyond me..... Edited October 23, 2008 by Dragon7665
BigGary Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Intersting side note. I saw a car that looked exactly like the Munster Koach driving down the road in Chesterfield, VA a couple of days ago. I was also driving so I didn't see it long, but I was amazed. Gary
raisin27 Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 The Munster coach first appeared in "Rock-A-Bye Munster. The Dragula was only in one episode "Hot Rod Herman"
HotRodaSaurus Posted October 23, 2008 Author Posted October 23, 2008 The Dragula was also featured prominently in the feature film "Munster Go Home". Well if it's on TV I now know what to look out for, thanks. I have never seen this film but am I correct that some of it was filmed , or at least based in England?
