James2 Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 Has anyone tried to use their PS (polycarbonate spray) paint with the TS (lacquer). Perhaps spraying the PS-45 TRANSLUCENT PURPLE over the TS-26 PURE WHITE?
64Comet404 Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 (edited) The PS series tends to be a bit hotter than the TS series. I have sprayed some of the PS over TS with fair results (PS-47 Pink/Gold over TS-59 Pink Pearl), but I have also sprayed PS-47 over automotive primer and had it lift the primer (that’s the car in the pic. It looks alright in the pic, but blotchy and uneven in person). You are better off to test your potential choices on a scrap body or plastic spoon, and see how it goes. as always, YMMV.
