Classicgas Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 Beautiful. Any modifications to the chassis to fit it?
donb Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 That is an outstanding build. Details and color are spot on. Well done Sir!
Scott8950 Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 That's very nice. IMO the 63's look better than the 64's...
StevenGuthmiller Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 Excellent work Bob!! Exactly The kind of workmanship that I would be proud to have in my collection! There are several talents that I pay great attention to on the boards, and you are absolutely one of the top! I'm excited to see what you're next project will be! Steve
Plowboy Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 That's a nice looking little Fairlane Bob! I really like the color! I also like how you did the hinges on the hood and posable wheels. I'm guessing you had to do some grinding work to get the interior tub to fit to the chassis? Nice work!
1930fordpickup Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 Man this is nice. Color, Stance and Wheels whats not to like.
beeRS Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 Not only a beautiful looking model, but if it were a 1:1, that's exactly how I would have built it. Very tasteful. What kit are the hood hinges from?
Tommy124 Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 Nice job in every department! As far as I can see, you replaced the "chrome headlights" with glass parts - or did you use UV glue for the same effect?

The T-Bolt chassis has the correct wheelbase but is a bit too wide . I took 1/16 inch off both sides at the rocker panels and and ground a considerable amount off the rear wheel tubs and towards the rear of the chassis , after that it fit like a glove .

Len Woodruff Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 Really nice. My 1st car was a 63 Wimbledon White Fairlane Sport Coupe.
