Italianhorses Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 Finally took some pictures of the finished Z. Great Tamiya kit. Its a testament to great engineering, when 20+ years after you built it as your FIRST EVER Tamiya kit you build it again, and you are as impressed and happy. Box stock, custom mix of White Pearl for the body, and Tamiya acrylics for interior.
polybius Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 Great looking build! I agree with kelson, simply beautiful!
Madhatter Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 Gosh I miss my old 300ZX - such a beautiful car. Woefully under-powered but still looks great even by today's standards. I don't really see this car on the roads these days. Sadly, the ones I've seen left going are not in the best shape or have been boy-racered Great build and thanks for the memories
peekay Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 Another exemplary box-stock build - in fact it should be on the Tamiya box!

Sometimes you start to realize how beautiful certain shapes are only after some time. Just proves that some designs are way ahead of their time, and Z32 certainly was.
FabbricaP Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 This was the first kit I ever built! Beautiful work, i love the white ext. and red interior combo
beeRS Posted May 21, 2020 Posted May 21, 2020 Utterly flawless! Another perfect build. I think the white body really suits the shape. I cant quite see the pearl effect on my screen, but I bet it shows up beautifully in person. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. it is a very fine pearl, looks actually super nice and somewhat scale correct, too. I hate when a model have this oversized metal/pearl flakes that does not look real.
Modlbldr Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 That turned out to be a stunner! Love the color combo. Makes me want to dig mine out. Later-
