They don't appear to be decal sheets included with any model kit, but rather aftermarket sheets.

Found out the one with the skull's over the checkered flag is a rare set from a Jo Han kit made in 1960. So I'm thinking that the set with the # 68's maybe either Jo Han ,smp or amt. ones..

decal sheets

The onse with the skull over the checkered flag appear to be made for a '30's ford coupe??? the rectangle pinstripe set would cover the canvas roof area???

I've seen a simple blister-packed model of a Ford roadster sold in the '50s or '60s--might have been powered by an electric motor, or maybe a rubber band or something. Could one of the sheets have been from that?

Here's a 1960 JO-Han box on ebay, and it shows a similar sheet, so I think you are correct that it's from an early JO-HAN kit:

These look like some of the generic decal sheets from some of the early SMP, AMT, and the JoHan kits. In the late '50's they wouldn't always use decals specific to the kit. Should you be thinking of using them just know that the chance of them transferring to a model are 50 - 50 at best. I would suggest either getting them scanned and reprinted on decal paper or look at Gofer and some of the other decal offerings out there. I have used a few from Gofer have many of the same style and even a greater verity of pin striping.

I have definitely had two of those sheets in the past and MIGHT still have at least one of them. The sheet with the  "Air Lifts" ,  etc. is an old AMT sheet that was in use in 1959 for sure and maybe in '58 or '60 also. It may also have been in SMP kits also.

The "skulls" and "dragons" sheet is a JoHan and it may still be in the box of a 1960 Chrysler kit that I'm the original owner of. I'll try to look for it tomorrow. BTW, I got the Chrysler kit around 1966-67 as a hobby shop clearance item for $1.00. I thought that was a little high for such an old kit but I got it anyway. They had a LOT of Johan's on closeout but I only got the one. If I had only known!

It is a Johan set.

Same set as 1961

This set is from the Johan 1961 Plymouth Fury.

First $20.00 can have it! :D

Aha! That explains why it looks so familiar. At one time, I had  a Johan '60 Rambler. I might still have the sheet, in my big-box-o-decals.

I think this sheet might be from a 1958 AMT kit, as the '59 annual sheets have 188 instead of 68/89, and the AMT 1958 Pontiac Bonneville shows those exact 68 and Custom Special decals used on the side of the box:

Compare with the AMT 1959 Buick sheet below:

Here are a few other sets that I scrounged up.

I can tell you which kits these came from, but does anybody want to make a game of it and guess? ;)

AMT 1963 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible:

Yessir        Thanks!

... kinda thinkin' these might deserve a home on some kind of pontiac panel; either a conversion of the revell '53/'54 or maybe a '65 chevelle resin delivery with a gto front clip...  hmmmm

You did well Bill!

The first set is indeed from the Johan '64 Plymouth Fury, but as stated by others in this thread, I believe that the same decals were included in other kits.

I have the same set in my Johan '65 Plymouth kit as well.

The '68 Coronet one was pretty easy.

The last one could have also been a generic set included in other models, but in this case, it was not a Johan 300, but an SMP 1960 Chrysler Imperial.

I assume that the kits had different decals.

While I see no mention of the "Golden Commando" decals on the box art, it does feature the Petty #43 decals.

Just in case anyone is interested, here are the answers to the other sheets in question.

Generic 1961 AMT kit decals.

This set came from a '61 Bonneville kit
