GeeBee Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 Due to be released in the Autumn (Fall) both have got some new parts as well as some very nice photo etch parts
Matt Bacon Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 (edited) Oh, I'll definitely be picking up a Super Seven... not sure the wing and JPS livery is enough to persuade me that I need another Europa, though. Thanks for the heads up, Geoff. You seem to be planning out my spending for me for the rest of the year! Now, who'll be first to market with a resin Patrick McGoohan driver figure? best, M. LDO Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 Hey cool. I built the Lotus 7 kit in high school back in the mid ‘80s. Looks like it has upgrades, too. I’ll have to get one of those.
Justin Porter Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 YES!!! It has been too long since the Europa was on the market and this new Europa Special version is just going to be very fun to have.
unclescott58 Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 I've been wanting the Super 7 for a while now. I'm glad to see it coming back.
Spottedlaurel Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 (edited) I built a 7 in 1985, still exists but not quite complete any more. I'd like to give it a go again. Never picked up the Europa but it's certainly one that appeals to me. Strange but satisfying for me to see the local 'NG' Norfolk registration on the black one. Edited July 3, 2020 by Spottedlaurel
dbostream Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 Already have two Super 7 but depending on the pricing I will pick up the Europa never had one of those. Hope to see Tamiya reissue more European cars.
Rob Hall Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 Cool...never built either of those, esp. like the JPS livery on the Europa...
Spottedlaurel Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 It would be great to see Tamiya add a few more newly-tooled old/classic cars to their range, as Hasegawa are doing, and not just reissues (welcome as they are).
Richard Bartrop Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 I definitely want another crack at the Seven.

That would be fantastic. While their 300SL remains one of the most fantastic vintage sports car kits ever tooled, it would be a joyful moment if Tamiya were to bring their considerable tooling capacity to might to bring us a kit of one of the as-yet represented classic sports cars like the Austin Healey 3000, Maserati Mistral, or Porsche 550 Spyder.
Roncla Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 I have seen on another forum that the 1/12 Martini Porsche 935 and 1/20 Fiat 131 Abarth are being reissued as well.
