Tommergun Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 My take on an old Ford Speedster, converted from the AMT 1925 Ford Model T kit. 2
larman Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 That's cool! Great job! Looks like it's ready for TROG!
Spex84 Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 Well done! I like how the (very plain) seats from the T kit have been jazzed up with careful painting...they looks so much better than I'd imagined they ever could! And employing the air cleaners from the V8 version as dust caps on the wheels is clever, too. Overall, this is a very sharp little model!
Phildaupho Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 I like this a lot. Have wanted to do one of these for a longtime but you beat me to it. Well done.
misterNNL Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 nicely done speedster with period correct parts and paint. The real cars were basically built from what ever was available at he time and then driven until they dropped then fixed and run some more.
Sixties Sam Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Very cool build! I like the barrel gas tank. Sam
alan barton Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 I've got at least four of those chassis lying around - looks like I know what to do with at least one now! I love how clean and crisp it is and yet there is still a touch of weathering to make it look real. Nice job!

I love these old Model T's and Model A's that were converted to races cars of that era. Very nicely done...There were a few that were in Halifax for the Hemming's Great Race a few years back.
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 Very fun to see. Liking the high up stance and exposed chassis and drivetrain parts under the car. Bright yellow paint is perfect. Way to go!
