gks1964 Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 While I'm waiting on the paint to dry on the Waltrip car! I thought I'd start something new, the '68 Bobby Isaac K&K Daytona 500 car. The body will be from the Revell 2N1 kit. The chassis will be made from a AMT 69 GTX Super stock kit, I got the chassis cheap! The chassis will require a lot of modifying, but that's the fun part to me. If anyone has any clear pix of the bumpers and grille of the '68 Charger I would love to see them. Force Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Nice project Gerald, keep in mind what Steve said, the race car body and a stock showroom body is quite different when it comes to the wheel openings as the race car is massaged some in that area. I have plans to do a K&K Insurance car but the 69 Charger Daytona and maybe the Charger 500.
